SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is at the heart of the McIntosh Orchard Philosophy.
Put simply it means that everything we do today, should be able to continue for decades to come, forever essentially! It isn't just about the way we manage our land and the environment around us, it includes the quality of the relationships we build with our people, our customers and our business partners.
In 2014 McIntosh Orchard was part of the Ballance Farm Environment Awards and was awarded the Supreme Award Winner for Otago. Receiving national recognition for best practices on our orchard was hugely satisfying and a tribute to our past and present staff that have supported our drive for growth and efficiency, without compromising our values or the environment.
